Animal photography

Photograph animals for their Adopt Cambodia listings — great photos increase adoption rates significantly.

Foster coordination

Help match animals with foster families and support fosters through the placement process.

Transport & field support

Move animals between rescue partners, foster homes, and vet appointments.

Create content for Adopt Cambodia's channels that drives awareness and adoption inquiries.

Foster families are essential to how Adopt Cambodia works. An animal in a real home — relaxed, healthy, showing their true personality — is an animal that gets adopted. A listing with a foster's story gets matched faster.

We cover all costs. You provide the space and the care. Most placements last two to eight weeks, and we support you through every step.

How do I donate, and is it tax-deductible?
You can donate directly via PayPal using the button above. For bank transfers or recurring gifts, email us at info@adoptcambodia.com. We are a registered non-profit — please reach out for information about tax deductibility in your jurisdiction.
What is the relationship between CHS and Adopt Cambodia?
The Cambodia Humane Society is the organization that created and operates Adopt Cambodia. We manage the platform, vet rescue partners, support fosters, and run the broader programs — rescue support, education, spay and neuter — that keep the adoption pipeline healthy.
Do I need experience to volunteer?
No experience required. Whatever your skills — animal handling, photography, communications, languages, logistics — we can find a role that fits. All necessary training and onboarding is provided.
Can international volunteers or remote supporters help?
Yes. We welcome international volunteers based in or visiting Cambodia. Remote support — in content creation, design, translation, fundraising, and platform development — is also available. Get in touch to discuss.
What does fostering involve day-to-day?
As a foster, you provide a safe home environment for an animal — usually a dog or cat — while they recover and wait to be matched with an adopter. Day-to-day this means feeding, basic care, and spending time with them. We cover all costs and are available for support throughout. Most placements are two to eight weeks.
Can my organization partner with Adopt Cambodia?
